Addressing the media, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that no third party played a role in the ceasefire decision, and it was initiated after Pakistan\u2019s Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) contacted his Indian counterpart at 3:35 PM today, requesting a ceasefire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceasefire agreement, which was reached solely through military-level discussions between the two countries, is set to be formalized with another DGMO-level meeting scheduled for 12 PM on the 12th. The agreement covers all land, air, and sea operations, according to Misri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rejecting US Secretary of State Marco Rubio\u2019s suggestion that further discussions would take place on a mutually accepted platform, India clarified that there would be no such ongoing talks involving any third party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Foreign Secretary Misri made the announcement in a press conference that lasted less than a minute and left without taking any questions from the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the ceasefire declaration, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Meanwhile, External Affairs Minister S.
