Washington: In a scathing critique of Pakistan’s response to India’s retaliatory actions, former Pentagon official Michael Rubin stated that Pakistan fled “like a dog with its tail between its legs” in the face of India\u2019s strong measures. Speaking to ANI, Rubin emphasized that the Pakistani military can never escape the bitter reality of its defeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rubin pointed out that India achieved both diplomatic and military success, and the world has now turned its focus toward Pakistan\u2019s continued sponsorship of terrorism. He added that the Indian counterattacks on May 7 effectively conveyed the intended message to Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Highlighting the blurred lines between terrorists and Pakistan\u2019s official military apparatus, Rubin said, “Whether it\u2019s a terrorist, an ISI operative, or a member of the Pakistani army, there\u2019s no difference. The fact that uniformed Pakistani officials participate in terrorists\u2019 funerals shows this reality.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe world is now demanding that Pakistan cleanse itself of the cancer within its own system. That\u2019s why India shifted from dialogue to decisive military action, which clearly unsettled Pakistan,\u201d Rubin said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further remarked that every war between India and Pakistan has been initiated by Pakistan, and each time, Pakistan falsely convinces itself of a victory. \u201cBut this time, even that illusion won\u2019t be possible.
