The final phase of the main Plus One allotment process is set to be announced Sunday evening. Students who receive allotment in this round can secure admission at their allotted schools on Monday and Tuesday. Classes for Plus One students are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, with an expected attendance of around 3.2 lakh students on the first day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this round, the main allotment process concludes. Students who are allotted seats in this round and those who were temporarily admitted under lower-preference options in earlier allotments must now confirm their admission by paying the requisite fees. This year, the Directorate received 4,63,686 applications. So far, 2,36,934 students have been admitted across merit (2,24,980), community (8,971), management (1,462), and unaided (1,521) categories. Additionally, 4,631 students gained admission through the sports quota.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notably, 44,371 students who were allotted seats in the first two rounds failed to confirm admission within the stipulated time and will not be considered in the third allotment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Approximately 1,77,750 students are anticipating allotment in the final round. There are 93,594 available seats under the merit category, while an additional 1,07,214 seats remain vacant across other categories\u2014management (37,489), community (16,361), and unaided (53,364). Among the applicants, 45,861 students applied across multiple districts, and 18,902 students have already joined VHSE.
