With nearly three decades of experience across tech, FMCG, and investment sectors, Srinivas will lead Meta\u2019s business and policy strategy in one of its fastest-growing markets.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n NEW DELHI \u2013 In a strategic leadership reshuffle, Meta has appointed Arun Srinivas as the new Managing Director and Head of India. The appointment is set to take effect on July 1, 2025, as the tech giant sharpens its focus on deepening engagement in India\u2019s fast-evolving digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Srinivas has been with Meta since 2022 as the Director and Head of Ads Business for India, overseeing the monetization strategy for platforms like Facebook and Instagram. He brings with him extensive leadership experience, having held senior roles at Hindustan Unilever, Reebok India, Ola (as Global CMO & COO), and WestBridge Capital. He is also an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of his new role, Arun Srinivas will report to Sandhya Devanathan, Meta\u2019s Vice President for India and Southeast Asia, whose portfolio was recently expanded to include broader regional oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meta stated that this leadership change comes at a pivotal time as the company scales up its investments in AI, business messaging, small business growth, and regulatory engagement in India.
