The elite anti-Maoist force, Greyhounds, spearheaded the search and engage mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the ensuing gun battle, Gajarla Ravi, also known by the alias Uday<\/em>, a Central Committee member of the CPI (Maoist), was killed. The police also recovered weapons, ammunition, Maoist literature, and communication equipment from the site.
