The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has emerged as the top-ranked Indian institution globally, securing a place in the top 150 for the first time, with an impressive ranking of 118. This marks a notable jump from last year’s position of 149. The university was lauded for its academic reputation, employer perception, and research impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following closely, IIT Delhi ranked 150, and IISc Bengaluru stood at 160, earning high praise particularly for its citation per faculty \u2013 a key indicator of research excellence. IISc remains the highest globally ranked Indian institution in terms of research influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
