The post had claimed a massive discrepancy in the number of voters in two assembly constituencies\u2014Ramtek and Devlali\u2014between the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, showing a decrease of over 35% in both. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This information was widely amplified by opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, as evidence of “vote theft” and voter list manipulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Kumar’s apology, in which he stated, “Error occurred while comparing data\u2026 The data in row was misread by our Data team,” and that he had “no intention of dispersing any form of misinformation,” has sparked a major political row. The now-deleted post had become a key point of contention in the ongoing debate between the opposition INDIA bloc and the Election Commission of India (ECI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
