Trader Murdered Inside Shop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The victim, Susen Chandra Sarkar<\/strong>, owned \u201cBhai Bhai Enterprise\u201d and lived in Southkanda village. Police said the attackers struck around 11 pm, hacking him with a sharp weapon inside his shop before shutting the shutters and fleeing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Family members later found him covered in blood and rushed him to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to his son, the assailants also looted several hundred thousand taka from the store after the killing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities have begun legal proceedings, and the body was sent for a post-mortem examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports noted that global advocacy groups have urged immediate international action to ensure the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh, alleging a continuing pattern of violence, intimidation, and forced displacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hindu Political Figure Dies in Jail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a separate development, veteran Awami League leader and prominent Hindu politician Ramesh Chandra Sen<\/strong> died while in custody at Dinajpur District Jail after falling ill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His death has sparked concern over detainee treatment and prompted questions about healthcare and prison conditions, with authorities and rights groups expected to examine the circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
