Wayanad, Kerala – May 25, 2025:
A massive tree fell on a car near the Food Bay restaurant in Krishnagiri, Meenangadi, injuring the lone occupant. The injured person has been identified as Bineesh, a resident of Mandad in Muttil.
Bineesh was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Sultan Bathery for treatment. Fortunately, no other passengers were in the car at the time of the incident.
The fallen tree completely blocked the National Highway, causing major traffic disruption. Sultan Bathery Fire and Rescue Services arrived at the scene and are actively working to clear the road and restore traffic flow.
Authorities are urging drivers to exercise caution while traveling through rain-affected areas.
