The Skytrax World Airline Awards 2025 — widely regarded as the most prestigious global airline ranking — has named Qatar Airways the World’s Best Airline, maintaining its top position from 2024. The awards were announced this week during a grand ceremony held at the Paris Air Show, attended by airline executives and aviation experts from across the globe.

The Skytrax rankings are based on global customer satisfaction surveys conducted over several months, analyzing experiences across airports, cabin service, inflight entertainment, cleanliness, safety, and overall quality.

India’s largest airline IndiGo made notable progress in this year’s Skytrax rankings:

Ranked #39 among the World’s Top 100 Airlines in 2025 (up from #42 in 2024)

Ranked #3 globally among Low-Cost Airlines

Ranked #1 in South Asia in both general and low-cost categories

These achievements reflect IndiGo’s expanding global reputation and growing customer satisfaction across domestic and regional routes.

Qatar Airways solidified its dominance in premium cabin service and overall excellence.

Singapore Airlines retained its position as runner-up and was recognized for the Best Cabin Crew and Best First Class Service.
