Thaloor: Nilgiri College celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm, braving heavy rain. Dr. Rashid Ghazali, the College Secretary & Managing Director, hoisted the national flag. Dr. Ranjith K.V., the Vice Principal, delivered the welcome address.
The “Chalex Gladiators March” by the NCC cadets was a major highlight, captivating everyone’s attention. The Skill Bank presentation and a mime performance added to the vibrancy of the celebrations.
Prizes and honors were awarded to the winners of various competitions held in connection with Independence Day.
The Chairman of the Neighborhood Community Group extended his greetings. Dr. Loganathan R., Assistant Professor in the Tamil Department, delivered the vote of thanks. The celebrations concluded with the distribution of sweets.
