Kerala:The second Kerala State Conference of the Working Journalists of India (WJI), the largest journalists’ union in the country, was inaugurated in Guruvayur by RSS Prantiya Prachar Pramukh M. Ganesh. The national president of WJI, Sanjay Upadhyay, presided over the event. During the conference, an 11-member state committee was elected, with Santhosh Kumar as President and Ajay Kumar as Secretary.
The conference called on the Chief Minister to ensure welfare fund benefits are provided to all journalists across the state without any form of discrimination.
