IIT Bombay has announced a new online academic offering — the e-Post Graduate Diploma (ePGD) in Integrated Circuits (IC) Design. This 18-month programme is designed to upskill engineering professionals and students in the rapidly growing semiconductor and electronics industry.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has introduced an e-Post Graduate Diploma in Integrated Circuits (IC) Design, aimed at providing in-depth knowledge of semiconductor technology, digital and analogue design, mixed signals, wireless communications, and system-level design. Developed and delivered by faculty from the Department of Electrical Engineering, this fully online programme caters to engineering graduates and professionals looking to enhance their credentials in the semiconductor sector.
Graduates of the programme will receive an official diploma from IIT Bombay upon earning 36 credits across seven modules. The course is spread over 18 months and includes both theoretical and application-oriented learning. The application deadline for the course is July 31, 2025.
The fee structure comprises a registration fee of ₹45,000 + GST, payable within seven days of confirmed admission. Each of the six course modules requires a fee of ₹52,500 + GST, payable in advance before the start of each course.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must hold an engineering degree or be working professionals in a related domain. The programme is designed to offer advanced education and industry-relevant skills to meet the growing demands of the semiconductor industry.
