CHENNAI — The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today (August 16, 2025) conducted raids on premises linked to Tamil Nadu Rural Development Minister I. Periyasamy in the Dindigul district. The raids, which began in the early hours of the morning, are reportedly part of a money laundering investigation.
According to sources, a team of ED officials, accompanied by security personnel, arrived at the Minister’s residences and offices simultaneously. The raids are being conducted at multiple locations in and around Dindigul.
