Thiruvananthapuram:The decision was made in the first sitting of the bench formed to consider the ragging cases.
The bench also directed that a special law be framed in colleges in Kerala under the Ragging Prohibition Act and that the government may form a working group.
The court directed that the activities of the district and state level anti-ragging committees be confirmed in writing.
If these committees have not yet been formed, the High Court said that it should inform how much time is required for this and that it is examining the existing anti-ragging laws.
The court also clarified that the district and state level committees should formulate rules under the anti-ragging law.
yesterday, a division bench headed by the Chief Justice had directed the formation of a special bench for ragging cases.
