This move is seen as a hopeful shift for tourism, indicating the beginning of what could be a safer and more peaceful tourist season. Among the most awaited reopenings is the scenic Betaab Valley, a renowned alpine destination. This initiative is expected to boost local economies and restore tourist confidence in the region.
Following a brief hiatus due to the tragic April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is once again welcoming travelers. The administration has taken a positive step toward reviving tourism in the region.
