In the past 24 hours, Kerala reported five COVID-19-related deaths, highlighting a concerning uptick in cases within the state. Currently, 2,007 individuals are undergoing treatment for COVID-19 across Kerala, making it the state with the highest active caseload in the country.
Nationally, ten COVID-related deaths were reported during the same period. Of these, three occurred in Delhi and two in Maharashtra. The country currently has 7,383 active COVID-19 cases.
After Kerala, the highest number of active cases have been reported from Gujarat (1,441), West Bengal (747), Delhi (682), and Maharashtra (578), indicating a regional concentration of infections. Health authorities have urged continued vigilance and adherence to safety protocols, especially for high-risk groups.
