Iran has detained two individuals allegedly working for Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, accusing them of espionage and involvement in sabotage operations.
Tehran: Iranian authorities have announced the arrest of two individuals linked to Israel’s Mossad, on charges of espionage and conspiring to carry out sabotage. According to Iranian intelligence sources, the suspects were captured while attempting to smuggle sensitive information and equipment. Reports suggest the individuals were planning acts of disruption within Iran’s borders.
The arrest was carried out by Iran’s Alborz Provincial Intelligence Department, which confirmed the agents were actively engaged in espionage and plotting subversive activities. Iran’s state media has termed the arrests as part of a wider crackdown on foreign intelligence operations.
