Over 500 Students Graduate at Grand 11th Convocation Ceremony of Nilgiri College.

Thaloor: The 11th convocation ceremony of Nilgiri College for the 2025 batch was held with grandeur at the Sarangi Auditorium on the college campus. More than 500 students who successfully completed various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs received their degrees this year. The presence of alumni—now employed in leading companies and pursuing higher education—along with their parents added warmth and pride to the occasion.

Dr. Syed Wajid, Registrar of St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, attended as the chief guest and delivered the convocation address. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Rashid Ghazali, Managing Director and Secretary of the college.

Principal Dr. Bala Shanmuga Devi welcomed the gathering, while Controller of Examinations Dr. Anand Krishnan proposed the vote of thanks. Program Coordinator Dr. P. Muthukumar, Dean Prof. T. Mohan Babu, and other distinguished dignitaries were also present and addressed the students.

Nilgiri College continues to make remarkable strides in higher education and has emerged as a symbol of academic excellence. The institution has secured a position in the 200–300 band among the top colleges in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). It has also been awarded the highest grade of A++ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
