In 2025 alone, he has received top civilian awards from Cyprus (Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III), Sri Lanka (Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushana), Mauritius (GCSK), and Barbados (Honorary Order of Freedom).

Over the years, PM Modi has received some of the world’s highest honours from countries including France (Legion of Honour), Russia (Order of St. Andrew the Apostle), UAE (Order of Zayed), and Egypt (Order of the Nile), underscoring his growing stature as a global statesman and India’s increasing diplomatic influence.

In addition to state honours, Prime Minister Modi has also been the recipient of prestigious international awards such as the Seoul Peace Prize (2018), UN Champions of the Earth Award (2018), Global Goalkeeper Award (2019) by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for the Swachh Bharat Mission, and the Global Energy & Environment Leadership Award (2021).

As Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Ghana continues, both sides are expected to explore further collaboration in areas such as digital infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and vocational training.
